IMPORTANT MISSION 
1)Chandrayaan-1: It was the India's first lunar probe. It was launched by ISRO in October 2008

2)ASTROSAT: It is the first dedicated Indian Astronomy satellite mission launched by Indian Space Research Organisation. It was launched in 28 september 2015. It was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

3)Mars Orbiter Mission(MOM): 
  • It is also called Mangalyaan.
  • It was launched on 5th November 2013 by Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO)
  • ISRO become the fourth space agency to reach Mars after NASA, European Space Agency and Soviet Space Program
  • India is a first nation in the world to get success in its first attempt to Mars
  • MOM launched form Satish Dhawan Space Centre , Srihorikota, Andhra Pradesh
  • Total cost for this mission approx 75 million US dollar
  • India's Mars Orbiter Mission, Manglayaan on 24 september 2014 successfully entered the Mars orbit
