• At present 193 members in UN (new member South Sudan 193)

• The Head Quarter of the UN is situated in New York(USA)

• All the organ of UN head quarter are situated in New York(USA) but the head quarter of International Court of Justice is The Hague(Netherlands)
• The Security Council consists of 15 members, (10 non-permanent members and 5 permanent member)
• 5 Permanent member are-USA, Russia, UK, France, China
• The proverb 'Policeman of the World' is used for the Security Council
• Only the permanent member have the right to 'veto'
